Elite Dangerous can't log into game

Bought the game couple days ago and it downloaded fine. When I went to play for the first time yesterday and launched the game it said I needed to remove the rift and log into the game. I typed in user name, password and the authentication code they send you and then hit the button. Screen blinked and a new line appeared saying that I first have to purchase the game or redeem a code before I can proceed. I have filed tickets with both Oculus and frontier but was wondering if anyone had any advice.


Tried restarting computer, un installing the game, restarting computer and then re install, closing and reopening Home, same results each time, need to purchase game or redeem code before I can proceed.

Yes I made an account with Frontier. It shows I have no games. I have no code that I can find anywhere on Oculus Home or Frontier.

Did you get a frontier or oculus thanks for your purchase email ? That should contain your code ?

You are not the only one having problems.  I created a frontier account,
and validated email.  However when I launch game from Oculus Store, I
have to then login to the Elite launcher. When I log in, it sends me a
validation code.. I put the code in, then it wants me to log in again..
Repeats the code validation again, over and over.. I wrote support from
the elite website. See their reply below.

sorry to hear you've encountered some trouble getting the two to work
together!



I'd like to reassure you that this issue is one that we're aware of and
are working hard to fix. At the moment I don't have an exact ETA,
however I hope to have some more information for you tomorrow.

appreciate it if you popped a post onto our bug reporting forums as this
will allow us to collate any similar issues into one place.



I apologise that I can't be of more assistance at this precise moment in

I am having exactly the same problem as described in the opening post! So annoying! I payed 40 EUR for this game in Oculus store one week ago and simply can't play it! 
But it costed me not only money but also a lot of time so far (reinstalling, making screenshots of every single step and mailing it to support forum with no solution so far...).
If it won't work (I still hope for a solution): how can I get at least my money back?
