I'll re-post this part here,

Pinball FX2 just added a Walking Dead theme:

I plan to buy this just because of that! I love all things Walking Dead.

Love The Walking Dead. Best thing on TV. I watch FTWD too, but I don't think it's on the same level as TWD.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Agree it's not on the same level as TWD but I still enjoyed it.

Since this thread is actually on topic with what I said in another thread. *copy-paste*

I may be alone in this, but TWD kinda burned themselves out for me. I
think it was the abuse of cliffhangers along with the scenes chock full
of what seems like filler and the god awful aim everyone has. I watched
it for many seasons and it was great, very addicting, had to marathon it
numerous times. Buuuuut, I happened upon something similar that I
really enjoy, Z-Nation. It does start off a with a bit of bad acting,
and a few... over the top ridiculous things, but quickly becomes a solid
show with much better acting. The uniqueness of the premise and side
crap they throw in along with some (imo) very funny moments, really
makes it more suit my tastes than current TWD. Here's an old trailer for
it, think it's on season 3 now.

Might be worth another look, I got 2 or 3 episodes in when i first tried it but gave up.

All the Z Nation fans on the Something Awful forums kept bashing Walking Dead (every season of it), so I grew an unnatural disdain for for all things Z Nation. I'm sure it's entertaining, but I can't watch it based on principal alone.

Although now that @OpticKing endorses it, I may consider it. But only after Walking Dead is completely done lol

I almost stopped watching myself, those first few episodes are definitely very rough with some bad acting. I decided to stick with it a bit to see if it got any better, and either they grew on me like mold, or they built up better dynamic/dialogue.  I do the same thing with many shows giving them a chance for the actors to fall into the roles better, and they actually did in this case. (imo anyway) Most shows I give a chance to don't do that, so I was pleasantly surprised.

Ah, yeah, I can see that happening. Fanboys doing their thing by pissing on anything remotely related, acting like it's not even in the same league as their temporary obsession, until they get bored with it and move on to repeat on the next topic. Tell you what, I'll go back and re-watch TWD where I left off on season 5 or 6, when you give z-nation another chance. :cookie:

Haha, I skimmed through this thread and thought "Wait...That's not walking dead...Is that...The Murphy?"

I'm really enjoying Z nation, it's kind cheesy and B-grade, but it has more of the feel of being written by zombie genre fans that don't take it too seriously.  If someone does something stupid that causes them problems, it's because it's funny rather than because it's a way to add more drama.
