hi, don’t know if anyone is interested in helping with this but here it is.
I have a Unity project that I made with the help of Ben Robert’s Touch YouTube tutorial. Then I added hands model and tried to make it work. That’s where I’m stuck.
Right now the grab function kinda works. I can grab objects and interact with them. I also have a point animation, but I cannot find how to trigger the animation from a script. You can check the grab script on the player/hand objects. if you have any idea how to do it please let me know.
Bonus question: I like the idea of grabbable points - that would be nice to implement. Also, how to code for the thumb up/down…
I looked at the Oculus avatar but it’s too complicated for what I need at the moment. I’d like to understand how to code my own hand models. Please look at the scene and be detailed with your answers.
It’s a Unity 5.5 project.
