Can I use a powered USB repeater and then a USB hub since my PC is in another room for the Rift?

Hello all,
As the title says, can I use a powered USB repeater and then a USB hub since my PC is in another room for the Rift?

The link below shows what I am talking about, it is a signal amplifier for long distance. My PC is in another room other than my living room, but the PC is by the door and the door is facing the living room behind where I would be playing, I could then just VNC from my laptop to the desktop to start things up and what not. I am sure the USB repeater would be fine, but can I use a USB 3 powered hub for my sensors through that or does each cable need its own individual plug to the PC?

What about your hdmi for the headset? Do you need an extension for that too?

I bought a powered HDMI signal extender as well as a power cord so I can mount the usb hub to the ceiling and then run those to the Rift sensors, and some things to attach to the ceiling and then to the cables from the headset so that they keep the cables out of the way. They are the retractable clips that people use on things like their work ID's. If I just nail them to the ceiling with some clips they will keep the cables out of my way but also allow for movement, I just need to leave some slack.

Here is what all I bought. I am just hoping it all works.

It would more or less end up looking like this with all the cables and extenders
