It's even outselling the GearVR lol

You already posted this in the appropriate thread. You feeling that insecure about Vive's losses that you need to re-post it as a new thread? lol okay, I'll bite:

Time moves forward, Atmos, not backwards.

Let's see these SECOND QUARTER figures again since these up-to-date results got buried in spam:

Forgot who said this but great point:

"Interestingly, this is Q2 data (April to June), so these numbers don't even include the Summer of Rift sale. So Oculus was already whipping HTC's ass before they blew them out of the water by dropped another $200 off the price of premium VR."

Although... based on Atmos' Q1 figures it looks like HTC fell from 3rd place to 5th place. OWNED

List is *clearly* reflecting "the best" (TM) VR headsets on the market. We all know that the average consumer is in the know. What sells most, is best! This is clearly also evidenced by the fact that #3 is a $19,99 headset...which is miles ahead of the Rift (clearly), which doesn't even show in the list. An extremely telling list which, IMHO, every VR enthusiast should look at carefully when they make their next purchase decision!

Now, I just wish I had that Siddhaedoodo headset!!

I'm pretty sure HTC is using the last of its funds to buy its own VR Kit off of Amazon to boosts its numbers...

GearVR is available from a vastly greater number of stores than the Vive, a rating on Amazon UK is worthless for comparison.

Isn't this how Vivarians looked after they found out Palmer Luckey was only "joking" about buying the Vive? ;)

Ok, fair enough, just vodafone uk. But still worthless since there are so many places you can just walk in to buy a GearVR. I have one, I didn't order through Amazon.

I posted this on reddit but here's a better representation on how they've been performing over the past month.  This is on the video games sales chart which is a better indicator on how the VR sector is doing overall:

    Notes:

    • This is only using the rift bundle sku and not any of the other skus available (headset, roomscale bundle...etc)
    • Highest vive ranking ever - #31 in March 2017
    • Highest rift ranking (all skus) - #22 in August 2017
    • During the entirety of the summer sale (2months) a rift sku was in the top 100.
    • Rift bundle was in the top 50 for 1+ months
    • From the data I could find going back to October of last year no other high-end VR headset has been in the top 100 longer than a few days.
    • PSVR is the only headset to reach #1 on amazon video game sales rank

@Atmos73 did you send your mobile phone information to HTC directly? I don't think they're aware of this amazing progress, because they are still trying to sell their entire company. You should forward this glorious breakthrough immediately!
