"I am feeling the camera is
output low resolution images. Increasing the monitor resolution won’t be
helpful to the camera resolution. So I don’t think the dummy hi-res monitor
device would work in this case.
Since the user mentioned the split screen output, he/she
must be using the external composition. In this case, the camera resolution
could be tuned inside OBS. But he/she need to use the same resolution in the
calibration process, otherwise the camera frame and game frame could be
The recommended camera resolution to use is 1080p
(1920x1080). I would recommend him/her to tweak the Camera Capture setting in
the OBS firstly to see if the current camera could provide high quality video

Haha do you think I was going to keep the Vive forever? Gen1 was always a stepping stone to Gen2 regardless of manufacturer.If people want to wait till 2019 for Oculus that's up to them but for me life's too short and £500 a year for a major upgraded is neither here or there.Ill gladly buy from HTC again but the Pimax is ticking all the boxes so far.
