Hi, i don't know what search terms would lead me to an answer to this question...

The 3d model that represents a human is called avatar.
But how is the 3d model called that represents a real world, non-living object?
Like a Touch controller. Or some other object that has a beacon attached, so it can be tracked and visualized in VR.

Please answer me despite my stupid screen name, hahaha.

    Hi,

Welcome to the Oculus Developer Forums.

Developers in VR use two primary game engines at this time for development: Unity and Unreal. In Unity, these are referred to as 'Game Objects' in Unreal these are referred to as "Components".
