Hey, I’ve been scouring the web for all full games (past, present and upcoming) I could find and verify that will have Oculus Rift support, because the information wasn’t easily available anywhere in a near-to-complete form and came up with this updated list:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_with_Oculus_Rift_support
There were a bunch of lists already, but most of them either included a lot of the Demos released so far or functionality with 3rd party drivers, but none just had the games with native Oculus Rift support.
Regarding the fields that can be sorted by, “VR support” basically relies on if the games are already playable in VR or not:Available
– Indicates that either the full game or a Beta/Alpha is already playable in VR with the Oculus RiftConfirmed
– Indicates that the developer has announced Oculus Rift support will be integrated in the futurePlanned
– Indicates that the developer strongly hinted at Oculus Rift support
In the case of the “Confirmed” status, developers have already announced that there will be Oculus Rift support, for instance see the latest Announcement for EVE Valkyrie, Hawken, Routine and similar:http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/08/20/eve-valkyrie-oculus-rifts-space-dogfighting-gamehttp://www.joystiq.com/2012/08/27/hawken-will-support-oculus-rift-when-it-launches-december-12/http://www.flesheatingzipper.com/gaming/2012/10/new-sci-fi-horror-game-routine-digs-the-eighties-oculus-rift-support/
In the case of the “Planned” status, developers have strongly hinted at the possibility of their games being playable with the Rift but haven’t confirmed or committed to anything yet, like for instance the recent Titanfall, Everquest Next or Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 News:http://www.gamespot.com/news/titanfall-could-add-support-for-oculus-rift-6411899http://www.nowgamer.com/news/2033933/everquest_next_video_teases_landmark_oculus_rift.htmlhttp://www.polygon.com/2013/7/9/4506470/castlevania-lords-of-shadow-2-pictured-with-oculus-rift-compatibility
There are also quite a few games that are in a Crowd funding campaign on either KickStarter or Indiegogo also listed at the moment and depending on the funds their status might change.
The “Game development status” should be obvious and isn’t tied to VR support. A lot of the already playable games are still in development in Open or Closed Alpha and Beta phases.
It would be great if this could be kept updated to have a quick look at when new games are being announced/cancelled or come out, release dates are set or older games confirm that they’ll support the Rift.
Feel free to correct any errors there might still be and add any existing/upcoming full games I might’ve missed.
You can also use this thread for any new game Announcements that might come up.
Oh yes and before I forget there is also a list of upcoming games with Oculus Rift support on Steam Greenlight with games that could use a few votes to be allowed onto the platform, although the owner of that group hasn’t updated it in a few weeks: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92979040
